Health and Training

Adapted Gymnastics is a highly specialized discipline dedicated to the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders that can affect various anatomical regions, including the spine, neck, arms, legs, and the foot-ankle system. To achieve these goals, the discipline utilizes a wide range of methodologies, acquired and refined through years of in-depth study and consolidated professional practice. These methodologies include: Back/Neck School in flexion and extension, Calliet Functional Re-education, Muscle Strengthening and Elasticity, Functional Recovery, Kyphosis Re-education, Isokinetics, Desmodromics, Sensorimotor Reprogramming, Proprioceptive Re-education (Riva Method), Stabilization, and Work Hardening. The use of each method, or the integration of multiple methods, is determined by meticulous collection of anamnestic data and an accurate functional assessment. However, it is, in particular, defined by the person who must be placed at the center of the recovery process and by their specific needs, supporting them (which is of primary importance) with the learning of appropriate behaviors and habits aimed at achieving and maintaining optimal health.
