Adapted Gymnastics is a discipline that deals with the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders that can affect different parts of the body, such as the back, neck, arms and legs. To do this, you can make use of various intervention methods that I have learned and perfected over years of study and experience. Among these methods are: - The Back/Neck school, which consists of a series of flexion and extension exercises to be administered for the back and neck. - Calliet's functional rehabilitation, which is based on specific movements to recover joint mobility. - Muscle strengthening and elasticisation, which aims to improve the strength and flexibility of the muscles involved in the disorder. - Functional recovery, which aims to restore motor skills compromised by pain or injury. - Re-education in kyphosis, which corrects the posture of the back curved inwards. - Isokinetics, which uses special machines to exercise the muscles at a constant and controlled speed. - Desmodromic, which exploits the alternation of muscle contraction and relaxation to stimulate metabolism and circulation. - Proprioceptive re-education, which improves the sense of balance and body position in space. - Sensory-motor reprogramming, which re-educates the nervous system to coordinate movements harmoniously and effectively. - Spine stabilization, which strengthens the deep back muscles to support the vertebral structure. - Work hardening, which prepares the individual to resume work activities without risking relapses or complications.
